West Musgrave

Handpump Prospect

The Handpump prospect located in the remote West Musgrave province of Western Australia represents the first significant gold mineralisation to be intersected in the entire Musgrave block. Gold mineralisation is associated with a rhyolite dome breccia with associated potassic alteration. In 2012, wide spaced reconnaissance soil sampling, rock chip sampling and mapping was completed at the Matika Well prospect approximately 50 km northwest of Handpump. Weakly anomalous gold and pathfinder results were received with follow up work being considered.

Skirmish Hill

The Skirmish Hill project covers an area of 560 km 2 in three contiguous granted tenements 80 km south-east of BHPB's Nebo-Babel nickel deposit. The project is considered highly prospective for nickel sulphide, platinum group elements, and copper-gold mineralisation.

During the September 2012 quarter, Beadell's joint venture partners, Anglo American, completed four RC holes targeting a northwest trending coincident geochemical, gravity and magnetic target. No results have been received yet, but there are trace amounts of sulphides noted in most holes.
